Jacobo Maldonado Ysasi - Spain - Showjumping Rider / Jacobo Maldonado Ysasi & T. Carlanka

Bobi began riding at a very early age like Aurelio, in Jerez de la Frontera, city of birth. In the early 90`s, showing great skills and initiative, Bobi moved to New Jersey (USA) where he rode for 2 years with George Morris, well-known American Olympic Team trainer and Gold winner by teams at the 1984 LA Olympics. He obviously competed then in major shows like Harrisburg, New York, Baltimore, Long Island, as well as the Palm Beach and Tampa Internationals.

In 1992 he moved to Holland for one year, trained by Alexa Bell (Canadian holding the EU height record in interior jumping); it led him to win a bronze medal at the National Dutch Championship (N.B.U.R.).

Barnfly Tug of War: Bays vs Palaminos

On Fridays, we usually try to introduce one of our horses in our post. This week we decided to mix it up and talk about two horses. We have had a lot of interest in our quarter horse geldings Moe (a 10 year old bay) and Mellow Yellow (a 7 year old palamino). Both of them have so many qualities that make them great horses starting with their minds. It`s hard for us to pick a favorite between the two. When you are shopping for a horse it ultimately depends on if you and the horse are a good fit for each other but we thought we`d have some fun with them and take a vote.

Based on color only, which is your favorite a bay or a palmino?

(You can click the pictures or follow the Tug of War link below)

We are going to allowing voting on this color clash tug of war until May 24, 2012. Visit the Barnlfy Tug of War and cast your vote for the bay or the palamino. The winning color will go up against another color next week.

My Sort Of Loan - It is always best to shop around to find the best horsebox financing deals. Always compare horsebox dealer/builder financing rates with bank rates, credit unions, and other loan institutions first, as interest rates vary quite significantly. On certain select horseboxes there may be special manufacture incentives, such as low interest rates, however these deals normally require a larger down payment.
